assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

carbon footprint

i hope anyone who got the chance to read this post would, at least, reflect to their way of living. it's not only about living a simple life, but also how to make ourselves helpful to our environment (we're khalifah of earth, remember?).

so basically, carbon footprint (jejak karbon) is direct or indirect carbon emissions which 'produced' by humans, from: electricity + water usage, transportation, food waste, and shipping goods. for example, import needs definitely have much more carbon footprint than the local one. because anything which has 'the import label' takes longer route to finally arrived at the customer's hand. the longer the delivery process takes time, the greater carbon emissions created.

then what happen if we keep leaving carbon footprint uncontrolled? global warming. it's an old issue, which never gets old. it's not simply about how our earth getting warmer. we're actually killing Allah's creatures because of our ignorance.

loving our biosphere doesn't hurt. start small actions with great intentions.
