assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

my happiness

"your happiness is the first priority"

i'm blessed with a lot of people who geniunely care about me. not only those whom i recently met, but also those which i've known for more than a decade. it's quite fascinating for me... how a short encounter between two strangers could tie them for decades.

i have these two bestfriends, named nadia and shinta. we've been friends for 12 years, but barely in contact for the past few years. after graduated from junior high, we lived a totally different life and pursuing different goals (tho i'd pictured them in their recent jobs even when we were in junior high).

despite our different path and way of living; nadia choose to stay in america as an artist, shinta enjoying her postgraduate study and works at the consulat in holland, and here i am still struggling finishing my study as decided to get married 'quickly'; they're one of such a few people who didn't judge, doubt, or 'questioning' my decision.

the very first thing they asked me was "is he a good man? are you happy with this?". rather than being negative or plainly praised and congratulate me, they were trying to make sure that i put my happiness first. they didn' try to force their own version of happiness, but want to remind me that i have full control to realizing my happiness.

being surrounded by these kind of bestfriends are such a blessing. um... knowing there are people out there who truly care about your happiness, feels like gaining thousands allies behind your back.
