assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

stargazing

i used to really love stargazing. i studied the names of constellations and read a lot of behind stories of its name in my high school years. well, even up until now i'm still very interested with fantasy-theme stories of star. so when i looked up at the night sky, rather than seeing those tiny shines as an object, i think of them as the subject of many wonderful stories :" and that's kinda cool right? but after i stay in surabaya for more than four years, barely see a clear night sky everyday, and don't have a balcony in front of my room anymore, i hardly could continue this simple hobby of mine.

if i could recall it, i have this small ritual whenever i start to stargazing; take a very deep breath, then smile foolishly like crazy. hahahaha, i know it's creepy. but it's proven to be a very effective way to cheer up yourself :D by realizing how big the universe is, and how small your problems are, you can't help but being grateful instead :)

well, it's fun and relaxing. i just hope that i could have another opportunity to do it again~ ah, and it must be awesome if there is someone precious sit next to you while stargazing :p hahaha, jk
