assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

well, have you ever heard about quarterlife crisis? to put it simply, quaterlife crisis is a part of process for someone to become an adult. it happens in everyone. but how much impact that it caused is diversed to each individual. it may doesn’t effect you at all, but for some people, it could tear their mentality into pieces.

so in the last few months, some of my friends came to me while crying... maybe not from the very start, but at least they cried in the middle of their stories. tho all of them are people who i barely meet in daily basis, they trust me enough to share the great burden in their shoulder. um... i feel grateful yet sorry for that.

they were confused about the conflict between ‘what she want to be’ and ‘what peoples around her want her be’. many of them are trying to find challanges in life, while their beloved ones want them to set a comfortable life in their hometown.

yes, it may sounds simple. but for those peoples who just entered the most sensitive mental stage, it could make them start to questioning about the meaning of their own life. they’ll feel lost and doubtful. about ‘what is right’ and ‘what is wrong’. or for whom they’re living their life for.

in the end of the day, everything that i could do for them was listening. gave them a comfort space to become selfish for awhile. because no one has the right to choose the direction of their life, except themselves. because we know, there is no choice without consequences, and it’s not easy to make everyone happy with our choice.

it’s normal, guys. being confused about what kind of future that you want to live in. even after you start doing something, but then you realize that it’s not the right path of career for you, just don’t blame or hating yourself. once in a while, dissapointment is needed in our life.

fyi, human being is a strong creature. so, just muster up your courage, and fetch your future! don’t let yourself regret anything ^^
