assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

smog

cr: republika

2015 hasn't even ended, yet we already could claimed that the most tragic occurence in indonesia this year is the smog disaster. this is actually an old story which keep repeated every dry season, as if we never exprerienced it before. rather than having a better regulation about preventing this disaster, it seems like our government prefer to just dealt with it when everything already happened. and unfortunately, it gets worse.

millions of innocent peoples have to face the consequences of powerful peoples' ego. it may doesn't cause a lot of dead victims, but their rights to live up their life were seized by perforce. they couldn't even see the bright sky of their home. a lot of children had to give up their right to get educated. those smog slowly but surely gnaws their future, our own nation's future. those smog is killing this country.

i live miles away from them. i still could see stars, clouds, and i even grumbled when the sun shone too bright. everyday i go to the campus without even bother bringing a mask, like it was something that i don't need to be grateful for. i'm also not that type of activist who will take some proactive actions to demand the government to solve this problem. and the only way that i could do to keep up about this disaster was just via social media. then what can i do?

share, donate, pray. it's a small movement that i learned when i started to follow knrp's updates. well, it may not a big thing, but definitely not an easy thing when you want to be istiqomah. i may couldn't make the government 'do their things', but at least, we should take our parts to help our suffering brothers and sisters outta there.

remember, the ruler of a nation is a reflection of his peoples. so let's do our job to make this nation getting better.

may Allah always bless all of us.
