assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh :)

hi, call me imra/imok. 24. i'm a/an: ENFP, muslimah, wife, proud indonesian, dentist (wannabe), parents-complex daughter, and part-timer otaku.

this daily journal is basically a small window of my life. i write about everything, whether it's important or not. sometimes, it's not even serious. so don't expect too much from this blog. don't try to judge me based on my writings, because i'm much more complicated than you could imagine. and i never mean to hurt anyone by my words, so pardon me if somehow i offended you. last but not least, i've been writing here for more than 5 years, people changes, so do i. thanks, happy reading.

enlightment

before, i were just a normal good girl. who were raised in a perfect religious family, and welcomed by warm schools' environment. i'm surrounded by a lot of great bestfriends, who never even once lead me to the wrong way. even if there was one or two who're like that, it was only about a matter of time before they started to make some distances from me. well, maybe because i'm just too plain, too idealistic, and too conservative for them. that's why, being a good girl wasn't a difficult thing, as it was just how i used to be.

i pray, because i were thaught to be an obidient muslimah. i study, becuase that's the only thing that i knew to make my parents being happy. my life was only about repetition, and how i thaught to be.

but now, i understand that life could be more than that. i've experienced a slump period, which is so dark and deep. i had hate myself more than anything else in this world. i'm that type of person who were so busy thinking about others, but not about myself. anologically, if i step into someone else's foot, i will at least feel the same pain (or maybe more) as he/she did. and that's actually not a good thing.

being able to understand yourself, trying to get some help, and seeking for an answer, is definitely an irreplaceable process of my life. i'm so grateful because Allah give me the chance to find the reasons of being alive, and how i want to keep living this life. i've never been this close to My Creator, and i've never been this honest to myself. and you have to know, that Allah's hidaya is the most beautiful things that you could ever experienced.

i pray, because i wished for His blessings and because i understand that i can't live without His guidances. i study, because that is a need of my heart, because that is one way that make a human being helpful to his surrounding.

so, if you see your life as a long learning process, you'll surely find your true happiness and the meaning of each part of your life. you'll getting closer to Allah, and you'll respect each other more. and those enlightment, was surely the biggest present that i've ever recieved in my entire life :")
